Boys to Men

We all at one time or another have heard in our lifetime a woman can't raise a man. Whether you believe or not its all based on your perspective. Family life today is no longer what our parents and generations before us would have ever pictured. They are more single families and the need for young men to have father figures in their lives has become a great need.

I believe for us positive male role models we must help our sisters and help these young brothers to grow into great men. Believe me a little private time with a young boy or teen goes a long way. Good advice from a man really enables them with the life skills that can only be taught by a man. It feels good sometimes to get a man to man talk. I hope real men can realize that is our responsibility to help carry the load to see a young child develop into a young man. Too all the single mothers continue to be the strong but remember their are still positive role models for the young men in your lives.

  2. Great insight, Ken! May I also suggest that men sow supervised time into a young girl's life? Young ladies need the advise and presence of a man, as well as his positive words and feedback so that she doesn't seek it out in the wrong places.

  3. Great point, Ken! I commend the fathers that are raising their children, however even those men can make a greater impact by reaching out to other children that may not have male role models at home!.......Keep the insight coming.
